Using the Ancor Heat Shrink Butt Connector Kit is easy. First, select the appropriate connector size (22 - 18 AWG, 16 - 14 AWG, or 12 - 10 AWG) based on your wire gauge. Slide the connector onto the wires you want to join. Then, use a heat source like a heat gun to heat the connector. As it heats up, the adhesive inside will melt and create a strong, watertight connection. When handling the kit, make sure to use the right amount of heat. Too little heat won't activate the adhesive properly, and too much heat could damage the connector. After use, keep the connectors in the plastic bin.
