Using this Echonautics transducer is easy. First, make sure your vessel's hull deadrise is between 0° and 7°. Then, mount the transducer using the thru - hull style through a 2.38 - inch hole. Connect the 27 - foot cable properly. When in use, it will give you accurate depth and temperature readings. As for maintenance, keep the bronze body clean. Avoid hitting it against hard objects. If the urethane acoustic window gets dirty, clean it gently with a soft cloth. Also, check the NTC temperature sensor regularly to ensure it's working well.
